I finally managed to do this painting of my beautiful mare, True Moon Riverdance. Its been 5 months since she died, and I still cried as I painted this. She was an exceptional horse, and I really believe she came to stay with me for awhile to get me through a difficult time in my life. When she knew all was well, she decided it was time to leave. If she has gone on to help someone else in her very special way, I can only envy the one who gets to have her company for awhile.
The painting is not everything that I would have liked it to be - perhaps because I am in a transition phase right now, and view everything I do with a super critical eye.
